My wife and I checked into a hotel on Deerfield Beach Sunday night after a long 3 day weekend of moving my daughter into an apartment at FAU in Boca. We were exhausted and wanted something close by to eat, my wife loves Italian so we chose Antonio's based on it's proximity to our hotel. I read some reviews and they all seemed positive for the most part, you can't please everyone. We were a bit shocked when we walked in at 8:30 to find the place empty, besides maybe 3-4 employees. At this point I wasn't sure if we should leave and try somewhere else, but let me tell you I am so glad we stayed!!
Our server was a local young lady named Coral, she was an absolute wonderful waitress and a sweetheart! We decided to get the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, can't really go wrong with those. These things were huge chunks of heavily breaded and crusted cheese fried to perfection!
For dinner my wife had Fettuccine Alfredo and I had the Sausage Pompadour. Each entree came with your choice of soup or salad and cheesy garlic knots. First, the soup was light, not too filling but delicious; my wife had the salad and the greens looked fresh and she enjoyed it. Now for the entrees, HUGE portions!!! My wife said it is the best fettuccine Alfredo she has ever had; as for my dish, absolutely amazing. Huge and generous slices of Italian sausages with peppers & onions over a huge portion of angel hair spaghetti with very zesty marinara sauce. Coral was very attentive and had a pleasant smile the entire time. I kept asking why the place wasn't packed, she explained it was busier earlier but being a Sunday night before the start of school the crowd thinned out early we left with enough food for another complete meal. Also, for an $8 glass of house Pinot Noir, you get about 1/2 a bottle, the wine glass was huge (no complaints here)!!! Stop by and see Coral and enjoy some delicious Italian eats at Antonio's... tell them the guy with the big red truck sent you! Thanks Coral! -

I visited May 11, 2019. First, the restaurant was grossely understaffed. There was one Server for 6 tables, and one was a birthday with over 10 patrons! The Server told us three others called out for the evening. She was trying her best, but this is not a good look!
Furthermore, the food was good, but not great. The pizza tasted okay, the fried calamari was fine, & salad tasty. However, I can think of many other italian restaurants that have better food.
Finally, the atmosphere was generic & I have seen an italian backdrop done better. Nothing unique whatsoever.
With so much italian completion, being okay in all areas is not enough to give it a sound recommendation. This was my second visit, but my first was significantly better with a full staff, younger crowd, and seemingly better tasting food. It is difficult to judge, as one visit was good & one sub-par. I am willing to try one more visit before reposting a second option. Please let me know your experiences. -

Really the only pizza worth reviewing from my latest trip in Deerfield Beach. Definitely a wise choice overall for a pie for several reasons:
1. Open till 10pm which is a plus as pizza places here have weird hours.
2. Open on Mondays when many other pizza shops in the immediate area are not which I don't get because this is Deerfield Beach...not Miami or Brooklyn.
3. Quick tasty pizza with ample toppings. No mushroom shortages here!
The only con for me was their creamy garlic dressing. It tasted more like creamy cardboard than creamy garlic. Might want to fix that but otherwise good experience! -

I had been craving a good pizza for a while. While at Deerfield Beach, spent a good deal time walking around looking for a no frills, good place for dinner and stumbled on Antonio's. This was it! Jackpot for one of the best pizzas I've ever had! (or at least it seemed that way at the time!) It took a little while to get the pizza and the server was a bit of nut but everything was good and the pizza was so good we devoured all of it! Perfect crust, chewy, and not too thick or thin. Delicious! There was a beautiful sunset way way off in the distance, but too bad I could barely see it from the outdoor seating area along the road there. As for the food, you will not be disappointed!

This is a nice family-owned restaurant. The waitress brought hot-out-of-the-oven rolls with real butter. Talk about getting full before the meal. :-)
I had the eggplant rollitini, skinless eggplant rolled up and filled with ricotta cheese and it was more than I could eat. There wasn't any room for dessert.
There are two dining rooms, the one as you enter for pizza, and the second off to the left for more formal Italian dining.
